Shipping a Pikobuy parcel
Route cards, chargeable weight, insurance and the rules for things the warehouse may pull out, read from Pikobuy's pages and video.
Pikobuy's estimator and its product types
On the Shipping estimate page you enter where the parcel goes, what kind of goods it holds and its weight in kilograms; box dimensions in centimetres are optional. The page then lines up the routes that can take it. The product types offered are General goods, Sensitive goods, Battery included, Pure battery, Perfume and Watch. Nearly every find on this site is general goods.
We could not pull route prices for this page. On October 24, 2026 the estimator's data service asked automated visitors for a security check that our tools could not pass, so the prices below come only from the official video. Run the estimator yourself in a browser before you plan a parcel.

Volumetric weight on the route cards
Route cards show four numbers side by side: transit time, actual weight, volumetric weight and chargeable weight. You pay for the chargeable one, which is the higher of the first two weights. In the official video a packed box of 30 by 40 by 50 centimetres weighing 2 kilograms is billed at 12 kilograms on a FedEx line and 10 kilograms on a UPS line, so different routes do the size arithmetic differently.
For soft finds such as hoodies and caps, volume is the number to manage. Removing shoe boxes and original packaging helps, and vacuum packing helps clothing most. Pack caps together in one box rather than spreading them across parcels.

Reading a shipping route card
Each card also lists what the route can send and what it refuses. In the video the cards say they accept general goods and refuse sensitive goods, charged items and pure electric items. A tax line appears too: one card says no tax exemption, another says duty-free. The terms put duties and taxes on you in any case; the card tells you how that route handles them.
The guide's advice is short: routes differ in transit time and billing, so choose for your needs. For a parcel of tops and caps, the cheapest general-goods route that shows a transit time you can live with is usually fine. For one fragile piece, look at insurance before speed.

Insurance, delays and losses
Pikobuy offers insurance when you pay the freight. If an insured parcel is lost, compensation follows the insured amount and the insurer's terms, which exclude internationally prohibited items. For delays, the user agreement treats a parcel as late once it passes the transit time published for that insured route, counted from hand-over to the carrier, and lets you ask Pikobuy to negotiate compensation. Delays caused by customs decisions, weather, strikes and similar events are excluded.
Without insurance, losses sit with you and the carrier. Pikobuy describes itself as a communication agent in carrier disputes, not a party to them.

What the warehouse may take out
The user agreement lists sensitive items that Pikobuy may remove from a parcel to get it delivered: glue, batteries, lubricants, care liquids and essential oils. It also warns that items with a lot of liquid or powder, batteries, food or medicine carry customs risk. If you are adding anything like that to a parcel of finds, choose the product type honestly in the estimator and expect it to be pulled if the route cannot carry it.
If a parcel is returned by Chinese customs because it failed the outbound security check, Pikobuy can reship it free after it comes back. If it is returned from abroad because of an address problem or failed delivery, the reshipment is yours to pay.

Sending your own goods to Pikobuy
Pikobuy also forwards goods you bought elsewhere. You get the warehouse address from customer service or the forwarding form, fill in the form, and the warehouse photographs the goods on arrival. Forwarded goods are always unpacked and inspected, and Pikobuy offers no after-sales service on them; it can only send them back to the sender.
Two rules deserve attention. If the inbound courier is cash on delivery, Pikobuy deducts that fee from your balance without asking. And goods that arrive without a forwarding form filled in are treated as abnormal and kept for only 60 days.
