What a Pikobuy order costs
The service fee wording, the display exchange rate, the transaction fee and the return charges, all from Pikobuy's own pages and video.
Goods now, freight later
Pikobuy splits every order into a payment for the goods and a payment for the freight. Its checkout calls this fee transparency: you pay the item cost when you buy, and the international shipping is worked out and charged after the items reach the warehouse, on the real parcel. The upside is that you never pay freight on an item that turns out to be wrong. The downside is that the first bill looks small and the second one arrives later.
Payment one covers the item price, the seller's shipping to the Pikobuy warehouse, any value-added services you ticked such as extra QC photos or video, minus coupons. Payment two covers the route price for your packed parcel, Pikobuy's platform service fee on that freight, optional insurance, and a transaction fee that depends on how you pay.

The service fee, in Pikobuy's own words
The user agreement is the only place Pikobuy writes down a service fee figure. For parcels, it says the platform service fee is calculated at 8% of the shipping fee, added when you confirm the freight payment. For buying, the same agreement says third-party purchasers currently provide the purchasing service free of charge, and in the next paragraph says Pikobuy may add the necessary service fee when you confirm payment for the products.
Those two sentences do not settle whether a buying fee is charged today. Our reading: expect none on the goods unless one appears as its own line in the order details panel, and expect 8% on top of every freight price. The tutorial video's order panel shows no service line on a 7.10 dollar T-shirt. Check your own checkout; it is the final word.

A worked example from the official video
The tutorial shows both bills for a real-looking order. The T-shirt costs 7.10 dollars, the seller's shipping to the warehouse adds 1.62, and the product total is 8.72. Later a packed parcel measuring 30 by 40 by 50 centimetres and weighing 2 kilograms is offered on two routes at 263.74 and 206.21 dollars, each discounted from a higher crossed-out price, with chargeable weights of 12 and 10 kilograms. The payment screen then adds a transaction fee line of 15.19 dollars.
These are demo values in a demonstration account, and the parcel is clearly not the single T-shirt. What the example does show reliably is the proportion: freight on a bulky box can be thirty times the price of a cheap item inside it.

Yuan to dollars at Pikobuy's display rate
Seller prices are in yuan, and Pikobuy shows them in the currency you pick from the header. Its own currency hint says conversions are for reference and the actual amount can move with exchange rates and payment channel fees. The rate table Pikobuy's site loads, which we read on October 24, 2026, listed the US dollar at 6.15 yuan per dollar with an effective date of August 26, 2026, and the euro at 7.08.
The video agrees: a 10 yuan seller shipping fee is shown as 1.62 dollars. Compare that with the market rate on the day you order; the gap is the conversion margin built into the displayed price. If you pay in another currency, the card or wallet you use may convert a second time.
| Currency | Yuan per unit in Pikobuy's table | Effective date |
|---|---|---|
| US dollar | 6.15 | August 26, 2026 |
| Euro | 7.08 | August 12, 2026 |
| Australian dollar | 4.41 | August 12, 2026 |
| Canadian dollar | 4.00 | August 11, 2026 |

Twelve payment options and their fee line
The footer of the Pikobuy site shows card and wallet logos: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Klarna, Google Pay and Apple Pay. The checkout in the video lists more: card, Apple Pay, Bancontact, Blik, Bitpay, MB Way, Multibanco, PayU, Satispay, Skrill, Trustly and Google Pay, plus a wallet balance you can top up.
A transaction fee line appears at checkout and depends on the method; Pikobuy also warns when the fee for a method has changed since you last looked. Refunds go back to your balance in most cases. Withdrawing balance to a card is possible, with an estimated 10 business days for the bank to process it.

Returns, cancellations and packing extras
A return that is not caused by a quality problem costs three things: return postage to the shop, the shipping fee the seller first charged, and a 5 yuan service fee. That applies even when the seller shipped to the warehouse for free. When the mistake is the seller's, such as a wrong colour or a damaged piece, the seller normally covers the postage. A request made while the item is still Not Shipped costs nothing.
Two parcel-stage charges catch people out. Cancelling a parcel that has already been packed carries an unpacking fee for the labour and materials. And once a packing add-on such as removing a shoe box has been done, refunds for that parcel need the seller's approval and the add-on fee is not returned.

Coupons and the membership ladder
Pikobuy runs coupons in waves: a sign-up offer advertised in the site header, weekly shipping coupon drops shown in a home page banner, and seasonal events such as the Monster Hunt banner dated October 22 to November 10. We do not print the percentages because they change and come with conditions.
There is also a membership scheme based on growth points. By default one dollar of valid order value earns ten points, freight counts once a parcel ships, and tiers are settled every 365 days from the date you registered. Higher tiers list monthly shipping coupons and priority packing among their benefits.
